A number of student IT accounts are currently inaccessible.

We are currently investigating an issue affecting access to some student IT accounts.

  • Our Teams are working on restoring access to affected student accounts and accounts are starting to become available again, if you are still unable to access your account please continue to try throughout the day. A further update will be provided when all accounts are available again.

    We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued patience and understanding.

  • Maintenance
    Keele People maintenance

    Keele People will be unavailable between Friday 1st August at 7:00 PM, to Sunday 3rd August at 12:00 PM (Midday) whilst maintenance work takes place.

    Colleagues will be unable to access the system during these times whilst our supplier completes the work.

    Apologies for any inconvenience this causes.

    Turnitin Turnitin service disruption

    Turnitin have provided the following service alert:

    We’ve run into some issues.

    Turnitin.com, TurnitinUK.com, iThenticate, SimCheck, Similarity and Originality are currently experiencing an unexpected service disruption.

    During this time, you may find that Similarity Reports are not generating.

    Those accessing these services via an integration may also be impacted.

  • Turnitin have provided the following update:

    Turnitin.com, Turnitinuk.com, iThenticate, SimCheck, Similarity and Originality, are currently experiencing an unexpected service degradation. We believe we have resolved the issue, and we are continuing to monitor the situation.

    Users will still continue to experience slow report generation during this time, while we process the backlog of submissions.
